Implementation

Live in 30 days. Here's exactly how.

Account opening goes live in about 30 days — a timeline Blue Federal Credit Union has already put on the record. Loan modules typically take 45–60 days depending on your core. This page shows the week-by-week plan, what we handle, and what we'll need from your team.

The 30-day plan, week by week

Week 1–2 — Kickoff & sandbox

Kickoff call with your dedicated project manager, product selection, and branding intake. We stand up a sandbox configured with your products in about 10 business days — your team clicks through real flows, not wireframes, before anything touches production.

Week 2–3 — Configuration & core connection

We connect to your core over direct APIs — real-time with Jack Henry (Symitar, SilverLake, CIF 20/20, Core Director), Corelation KeyStone, and Fiserv (DNA, XP2, Portico, Premier). Product mappings, disclosures, funding options, and decisioning rules are configured from templates, then tuned to your policies.

Week 3–4 — Testing & training

End-to-end test applications flow into your core; your ops team validates member records, funding, and document imaging. Staff training runs on the ops console and review queues — most teams need two sessions, not a certification course.

~Day 30 — Go-live

Account opening goes live to your members or customers. Loan modules follow, typically 45–60 days from kickoff depending on the core and the number of loan products you're standing up.

After go-live: nobody disappears

60-day hyper-care

For the first 60 days after launch, your implementation team stays on the account watching live application volume, tuning decisioning rules, and resolving edge cases the same day they appear.

Dedicated project manager

One named PM from kickoff through hyper-care. No ticket queue between you and the person who configured your instance.

Weekly calls

A standing weekly working call through implementation and hyper-care — agenda driven by your open items, not a status-theater deck.

Quarterly executive reviews

Once you're live, quarterly reviews track conversion, automation rate, and deposit and loan outcomes against the goals you set at kickoff.

"They helped us launch an entire Online Account Opening (OAO) platform in 30 days."

Implementation FAQ

COOHow much staffing do we need on our side?

Plan for a project lead (often your digital or ops leader) at a few hours per week, plus availability from one core/IT contact and one compliance reviewer at key checkpoints — product mapping sign-off, disclosure review, and pre-launch testing. No dedicated full-time headcount is required; Cotribute's team does the configuration work.

ITWhat does the core connection actually involve?

Cotribute connects through your core's supported API layer — for example SymXchange for Symitar or KeyBridge for Corelation KeyStone — as one of 36+ direct API integrations. Your core team's role is credential provisioning and environment access; we build and test the integration against your sandbox before production.

COOIs there a data migration?

No. Cotribute layers on top of your core — accounts and loans are created directly in the core in real time, so there is no member or account data migration. Existing members are looked up in the core during application, not copied into a separate system of record.

COOWhat does training look like?

Training covers the ops console: application queues, manual review, decisioning rules, and reporting. Most institutions complete it in two live sessions during week 3–4, with recordings and documentation for new staff later. Frontline staff typically need under an hour because the member-facing flow is self-explanatory.

ITWhy do loan modules take 45–60 days instead of 30?

Lending adds credit pulls, underwriting rule configuration, adverse-action handling, and core booking logic that varies more by core than deposit account opening does. Red River Credit Union stood up eleven consumer loan products on Corelation KeyStone with this methodology; timelines depend on your core and product count.
